Paris for new years

Say,

Am planning on heading to Europe for Christmas week and will probably be in Paris for new years. this is a trip from the states. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestion for websites to get some great deals during that time.

But was also wondering if anyone would suggest an itinerary for that week while i consider being in Europe during the week especially as I consider paris for new years?

Be aware that many places close early on Christmas Eve and are closed Christmas Day and New Years Eve and New Years Day.

You need to check with museum for closed dates and times.

Grocery stores are closed those dates and so will be the banks.

Trains and buses run on holiday schedules.

Decorations will be up.

The Notre Dame Cathederal will be crowded during those Masses.
