I will be travelling to Paris and was wondering if anyone can suggest a reliable airport shuttle service. They all seem the same. I booked a service with my hotel only to be told that I call after arrival and will wait for an hour minimum for the driver. So, now I%26#39;m looking for something else. Do it exist?
Thanks,
Calgary

That%26#39;s how the shuttles work. They want to make sure you%26#39;ve arrived on time and so has your luggage.
However, you could take either the Roissybus or the Air France coach into Paris, then a taxi or use the metro for a shorter distance.

We made an arrangement to hire a shuttle from Charles de Gaulle to the center of Paris %26amp; were told to call when we arrived. WE couldn%26#39;t get the call to go through, so we walked out to where the hired shuttles were picking up othe passengers %26amp; the driver was glad to have us. We waited less than 10 minutes.

Yet another reason not to take a shuttle. They are without a shadow of doubt the least reliable form of transport between the airports and Paris. The RER, Roissybus, Air France coaches, a Taxi Parisien or a private van service such as Grey Shuttle (www.greyshuttle.com) will all be more reliable and at least some of them will be as cheap or cheaper, depending in part on how many there are in your party.

Thank you very much Travelnutty. The links you provided are a wonderful help. Before I posted my problem I was bleary-eyed trying to decipher the different options and companies. I had no idea that the interactive metro link existed.
Also, IrishRover thankyou.

There is a company called %26quot;Airport Associates%26quot; that I used in July. They requested payment in advance. I opted for the VIP service for 75 euro, meaning a private van for myself and my colleague. They arrived 1/2 an hour late, the entire window on the passenger side had been broken and taped with masking tape and there were 2 passengers already in the van. Upon my return home, I contacted them and requested a refund since what they gave me was %26quot;shared service%26quot;. They assured me I would get my refund once the owner, Mr. Moses, returned from vacation in August. They have ignored my repeated emails and faxes. Beware of this company.
