We will be arriving at the CDG airport and heading approximately 20 km southeast of Paris. I know the RER line B heads in that direction, but all the maps I see for the RER don%26#39;t seem to go that far. I was under the impression that Bures-sur-yvette had an RER station. Am I better to take a shuttle or rely on the RER line b.
Thanks in advance for any info. We arrive Oct. 20/07

For a direct route---no train changes en route---simply take any RER %26#39;B%26#39; ligne train with a %26#39;..PEPE.. designation, heading in the direction of Saint Rémy Les Chreveuse from one of the two stations at CDG within CDG directly to BURES-sur-YVETTE station. Travel time will be 1:15 hrs (75 mins)

It%26#39;s also worth noting that the BURES-sur-YVETTE RER station is located out in Transportation Zone 5 (on the RER %26#39;B-4%26#39; ligne...%26#39;..Transportation Zones..%26#39; are concentric %26#39;rings%26#39; radiating outward from central Paris) so if you%26#39;re planning to %26#39;..commute..%26#39; into Paris from BURES-sur-YVETTE you will probably do best (depending on the details of your proposed itinerary) with a CARETE ORANGE Zone 1-5 or PARIS VISITE Zone 1-6 transportation pass. A one-day MOBILIS Zone 1-5 will work for the RER %26#39;b%26#39; ligne between BURES SUR YVETTE and Paris....but the t%26amp;C of the MOBILIS specifically EXCLUDE all airport transfers). The one-way RER %26#39;B%26#39; fare from CDG (Zone 5) to BURES-sur-YVETTE (Zone 5...on the opposite side) will be approx. 12€...and the one-way RER fare from and back to BURES-sur-YVETTE will be 4,10€
