Batobus

Hey All!

Just wondering if any one has used or uses the Batobus along the Seine. Been thinking of using it for our trip in Oct as we staying near Notre Dame and it seems useful for getting around.

Any opinions would be great. Thanks

Hi Dub,

we%26#39;ve just returned yesterday from an 8 day trip to Paris and used the Batobus quite a bit for the first 5 days. We bought a 5 day ticket at a cost of 17 euros each and found them very good value. We did a round trip the first day (just to check that everything was still where it was from our last trip!)

We stayed in an apartment on Rue du Bourg Tibourg just a few minutes walk from the Hotel de Ville escalier and we found the Batobus really handy at about 5 o%26#39;clock after a day of walking to find the nearest stop and rest our feet for a while.

Having spent the first 5 days exploring areas in the central arrondissements we branched out for the final 3 days with a carnet of tickets which we used on the metro and the buses to Bercy Village, Parc au Buttes Chaumont and to get to Gare du Nord on our last day.

We%26#39;ve used the Batobus previously, it was a very nice and easy way to get around with a view! We still got Metro passes at the same time, though.
