Calais to Paris drive: A16 or A1

We are driving to Paris from the Eurotunnel Port at Calais this Friday afternoon. Any advice on chosing between the A16 and the A1 to avoid traffic etc?

A16 is going to be quieter, but the A16 cannot be considered busy by and stretch of the imagination.
