We leave for Paris in 10 days I am so excited even my husband is doing the count down now. I am interested to see where you had your favorite meal in Paris.
It can be inexpensive or expensive, since being from NYC we are very spoiled here with all the choices everyday we know the best food does not always come from the priciest meals we have eaten. Very interested to see what you enjoyed most!
Cheers,

L%26#39;Epi Dupin on rue Dupin. The people sitting at the next table asked how I found out about it, its such a %26quot;special%26quot; local place.... 34 euro price fixed lunch. You definitely need a reservation for dinner.
a great lunch place is Pomm%26#39; Cannale on Ile St Louis... Made the return after 18 years and it was just as good. Wonderful savory tarts
and, if you just want to pick up sandwiches, Gerard Mulot on Rue des Tournelles (Marais/Bastille) is the best! I got up early to get one of them for the plane ride back. Orgasmic chocolate too.

My wife and I absolutely loved Café Le Rouelle
38 r Rouelle 75015 PARIS
South of Eiffel Tower, this mom and pop run brasserie is great!!!
It was near our hotel so every night after a day of sightseeing we%26#39;d end up here. It%26#39;s a small, dark wood covered cross between a wine bar and restaurant. The atmosphere is great, I%26#39;m pretty sure we were the only tourist here. (it%26#39;s location is not in a tourist area)

We had a great meal on the river cruise at night. Try bateauxparisiens.com. A great way to see Paris at night and a fantastic meal to boot.

Thank you all so much for your suggestions so far.
I do like the add on on your worst expensive meal..you hate to spend good money and find it was all a waste, especially if that was the meal you were looking forward to the most.
I will include these in my little moleskin notebook I am taking with me.
Cheers,

One of my favorites was a ham and cheese crepe my husband and I shared sitting in front of the Fountain St. Michel.
