newport bay club hotel,disneyland paris

i%26#39;m staying at the newport bay club hotel in feb.any tips or advice would be most welcome

Hi,

Went there a couple of years ago - albeit in August which is probably why - and we spent about 2 1/2 hours trying to check in at the hotel. Reservations had of course already been made but we were totally unprepared that it took so long to queue to a) see someone at the check in desk and b) to obtain keys to our hotel room. The only saving grace for us with two children desperate to get to the theme park was a visit from mickey and minnie arriving outside the hotel after the 2 1/2 hours of waiting.

I am going 1st week of Easter Hols this year, so If you have any advice / tips after your visit Itj-1964, please post them, not looking forward to waiting 2 1/2 hours to check in!!!

i,v booked to go to this hotel in march 2008, is it true that it is very expensive in the park for drinks and food, i was told it costs £5.00 for a coke, is this right if so where would be the best place to eat and drink with my six year old daughter.

Hi ltj-1964

We stayed at the newport bay two years ago and the check in was about fifteen minutes and that was in april. Fantastic hotel couldn%26#39;t do enough for us the surroundings are very luxurious and the food is great couldn%26#39;t believe the choice for breakfast. Dont bother with the transport to the ark as it is only a five minute walk around the lake to the disney village and it lets you prepare yourself for the day and calm down at hte end of the day.

Food in the parks can be expensive especially if you want to do character dining but there are lots of cheaper options and no drinks are not £5 they are not much different in price from here takeing into consideration the exchange rate. Book yourself in for a character tea party very good and relatively inexpensive. But overall just enjoy yourselves and make the most of the fastpass.
