Recommendation on Inns for Normandy & Loire area

We will be visiting the Normandy %26amp; Loire areas each for a few days and would love your recommendations on where to stay that would be nice and romantic and reasonably priced if you can? Thank you very much

Hi! I%26#39; ve to recommend Le Manoir les Minimes, located in Amboise: it%26#39;s a charming and fine boutique-style hotel, and it%26#39;s also quite affordable. I%26#39;ve never stayed here, but it%26#39;s ranked as number 1 on http://www.tripadvisor.com/ for accommodations in Amboise, and I think to stay here during a next trip in the wonderful Loire Valley.

I wish you%26#39;ll have a nice time in this nice region!

For Normandy, consider La Chaîne d%26#39;Or in Petit Andelys. Lovely small inn with a beautiful setting right on the bank of the Seine. Rooms at the back are large and have beautiful river views. The small town is fun to explore, and the Château Gaillard is close at hand. The hotel%26#39;s restaurant is first rate; there are French (of course) doors that look out toward the river.

thanks for your recommendation -- another place that seems to be highly talked about is La Ducrie --- are you familiar with these accomodations?

|||

Sorry, no.

Along with La Ducrie, you also might want to check out Chateau de l%26#39;Isle Marie which is near St. Mere Eglise. I%26#39;ve only read good things about both b%26amp;b%26#39;s.
