I was in Paris this past February and it was fine. It was in the high 40%26#39;s and 50%26#39;s. I only put my heavy jacket on at night. It rained most days, but only lightly and for a very short period. A small, lightweight umbrella should be on your packing list. I would definitely go at that time of year again. Any weather issues are more than made up for by the lack of hordes of tourists.

The weather in February or March is anyone%26#39;s guess, but be prepared for cold %26amp; wet in both months... but you could be lucky.

My husband and I are planning a trip for Feb as well. We%26#39;re thinking of Feb 12 - 18. It%26#39;s a toss up between there or London but I prefer Paris. He%26#39;s concerned with being treated poorly there. Any feedback on your research?

We%26#39;re thinking of going to Paris close to the same time in Feb. It%26#39;s either there or London. My choice is Paris but my husband is concerned with being treated poorly there. It will also be my birthday so I want to have a great time and not worry about a thing. I%26#39;m assuming you%26#39;ve never been to either? I%26#39;m in the early stages of researching which place to go. Any feedback is much appreciated.
Thanks!

Definitely Paris. Weather should be marginally better than London, BUT you are in NE Europe so expect everything from 25 to 60 degrees, and sun rain wind or fog. Even snow in London, but it makes it prettier.
But you are there to eat drink and be merry and to hell with the weather. I also think you will be better treated in Paris, there%26#39;s an unpatriotic thing for a Brit to say !!!! LOL

?? Why? Is your husband usually treated poorly when he travels?

Senorita: Please tell DH to forget about being treated poorly. I have been blessed to visit Paris at least a dozen times and the only truly rude soul I have encountered is a gentleman who worked at the Bir Hakeem (sp?) metro station. Now that tickets are purchased from machines, I won%26#39;t have to deal with him. Frankly every subway system worldwide seems to have their fair share of curmudgeons working.
The people of Paris are lovely especially when treated with respect. Search on this site for customs that are different from our customs in the US. (for instance, a waiter does not generally check on you after food is served in Paris. They assume the food is acceptable unless you call them to your table to comment. Don%26#39;t assume a waiter is rude, he/she is just handling things according to the customs of Paris. Likewise, try to speak a little French out of respect for your hosts. A friendly %26quot;Bon Jour%26quot; goes a long way. )
Have a great trip and don%26#39;t worry about the French being rude. Just make sure you and DH are as respectful as possible! Moms

Senorita, the wife and I were also thinking of a couple of days in london, but after looking at how expensive it is (pound to the dollar) we decided to spend our time in Paris, and probably take a day trip to Normandy.
I am thinking of the Paris Hilton, but have never used Hotwire.com although it shows a 4* hotel for $119 in that area. I have seen others mention getting into that hotel. Also I have some Holiday Inn points so we may stay at the Holiday inn for a couple of nights. Gotta save money for food hahaha, and site seeing.
Its going to be snowing here in February, and with it being an off period in Paris we thought it would be a good time to visit.

Be prepared for cold weather and rain. Bring gloves and have wife wear nylons or silk long johns under her slacks as the wind in Paris cuts to the quick!
Bring each an umbrella or a rain proof hooded Jacket. You might encounter snow...but if so... plan on slushy walkways
