Hi,
Can anyone advise on this?
I%26#39;m hoping to do a spontaneous trip next spring/summer when the weather is hot and fancy somewhere we can relax by a pool in between sightseeing?
Is this possible in or very close to central Paris?
I only know of places with indoor pools.....
Thx, Sarah

I assume you%26#39;ve already done a search and come up with nothing - I would guess that it%26#39;s very unlikely in/near the center of Paris if only because real estate is extremely valuable and it would take up a lot of space. Most likely, you would need to get a hotel in the suburbs and then take the RER into the center of the city for sightseeing during the day.

You could always go to one of the public pools.

La plage de Paris is open every July, at the Seine. But otherwise I have never heard of a hotel with an outdoor pool in central Paris.
Regardless, if Paris has a summer next year that resembles this year, there will be no swimming outdoors, that%26#39;s for sure.

Yes, weather was cold and rainy when my hubby and son went end of June, and then ,, when I went in mid August ,, it was very similar, not particularily cold, but grey and a few drizzly days, not lay by the pool weather at all.
Weather is so wierd ,, I guess point is don%26#39;t book trip solely with thought of any beach type weather, I mean one does not recommend Paris as that sort of a destination , what with all the museums , art galleries, shopping, restaurants etc. LOL
