urgent help requested

hi there I need more help. I have looked at the citea acropolis hotel and some apartments which turn out to be about 2.5 k from old town and the bus station etc. I am travelling with my mum who cannot manange stairs and hilly area, so we need to be able to get around ealily. I have read about road works in Nice and wonder if the Citea A is still a better bet then an apartment %26#39;out the road%26#39; but getting a bus in to town daily or even twice daily.

really appreciate the advice

Hi Eileen.

How long are you staying in Nice for? Me, I would choose somewhere nearer the Old Town, or pedestrian area, a short stroll between the two, the promenade and bus stops are near. You dont have to go anywhere near the roadworks either.

staying for 5 days I think I will do as you say and find somewhere close to town.

The Citadines Nice Buffa is definitely nicer than the Citea, is close to the pedestrian streets and about 10 minutes walk from the Old Town. You have easy access to city buses also.

The Citadines promenade is even nicer but further up Rue de France to the west (towards the airport) and is about 20 minutes walk from Rue Jean Médecin. Lots of buses too and about 10 minuts from the train station (Buffa is about 5 minutes from the train station)

Both are apart-hotels like the Citea but are 3 stars instead of 2 like the Citea.
