send ing an important document quickly

While we are in Paris, it may be necessary to send an important document to the US. What is the best way to send it very quickly.

(In the US, we generally us Fed Ex overnight.) What would be the

equivalent? Thanks Liz

If you are staying at a hotel, they should be able to help. I know Fed Ex is over there (I%26#39;ve sent things TO France that way several times, but I don%26#39;t think they have drop boxes, etc. - you might check the web site for information). I also know UPS is there because I saw one of their trucks out in the countryside in the Dordogne, but again I don%26#39;t know how you contact them to get an item to them to send. If you are at a chain hotel, in particular, they should be able to do this (you might want to e-mail or call in advance and find out what they say on this subject just to be aware).

UPS has a few %26quot;espace express%26quot; in Paris:

Espace Express UPS

Espace Express UPS

107, rue Rèaumur, 75002 Paris

Find a location for...

FedEx: http://www.fedex.com/fr_english/dropoff/?%26amp;amp;lid=/Ship/Locations

UPS: ups.com/content/…

Is it possible to just fax the documents?

The French Post Office.

You can send your letter registered and Colissimo.

When I worked for a British firm in the US most of our international overnight services were using DHL (and we shipped to lots of overseas locations). They were extremely reliable for international shipments. They do have offices in Paris so you might want to consider using them.

The express mail product of the French Post is called %26quot;Chronopost%26quot;.

DHL rules the roost in quick parcel delivery worldwide.

No, I don%26#39;t work for them -- but have learnt the hard way to use them when it absolutely, positively has to be there.
