Airfare

We will be going to Paris for 2 weeks during the end of May. Does anyone have any advice on how to get the best airfare?

I find airfares, especially the transalantic ones , very frustrating,, trying to get a %26quot;deal%26quot; I mean. You would hope buying well in advance would get you a good price, and of course to some degree you do need to buy somewhat in advance, as we all know last minute fares can be very high, BUT, we also know that there are some good seat sales in the spring for Europe( at least there are where I live) but the flight times can be horrible , with too many connections and long layovers, my 9 or 10 hour flight can stretch to 20 hours or more of travel.

So , basically,, I look and look and look, and like buying a house I try and get an idea of what a %26quot;good%26quot; price would be. Then I keep my eye open and buy ,, and always find out a week later that there was a better price somewhere!! LOL

Do keep in mind I search all the airlines I can( I love the internet) , and I look at departure airports other then the closest one to my house,, and as I said , I do try and avoid the %26quot;death march%26quot; flights!

i%26#39;ve had good results from 1800flyeurope.com. I got a RT flight from ATL to CDG for $634.22 pp including taxes, etc. I%26#39;ve searched other sites and none have compared to the site I%26#39;ve just mentioned. I booked about 3 weeks ago, so about 2.5 months before my actual trip.
