Hi, I am off to DLP in November for someones birthday. I just wondered if anyone could give me a few tips on nice places to eat that would be suitable for a birthday meal?
Thanks!!

We really enjoyed the Chicago Steakhouse in Disney Village. A giant caesar salad, with steak and fries to follow with creme brulle to finish! With water, and the glass of wine included (it was a fixed priced meal) it was about $80 CDN (for two). This was 2.5 years ago, so it might be a tad more now. But good food. Nice atmosphere.

I agree with Parishoneymooner
The Steakhouse in the village is one of the best. Steaks are fab - the ribs are pretty good too :)
Inside Disney, most of the eating places are much of a muchness although the pasta they do is pretty palatable. We quite liked the Cowboy Cookour BBQ. The portion sizes are all pretty much the same every where in the park - buy ribs and they%26#39;ll be the same size as a burger.

Thank you for that info!! :-)
Does anyone know what charater dining is best?
Thanks again!!!

We have done character dining twice in the Lucky Nuggett in Frontierland.
It has an all you can eat buffet which was really nice and there were plenty of characters for the kids to meet. You weren%26#39;t rushed out either. Our kids loved it.

We really like Planet Hollywood in the Disney VIllage too. Have eaten there loads and never got a bad meal.
You might also want to try Annettes Diner also in the Village. The food isn%26#39;t quite as good as PH but there is a great atmosphere. The waiters %26amp; waitresses were on the counters singing %26amp; dancing the last time we were there. Just make sure you%26#39;re not in a hurry!

Thanks for the info guys!!!!

if you are staying in one of the disney hotels you can book a character breakfast for no extra charge, plus you get into the park an hour earlier.

I am staying in the Disneyland Hotel. I think they have a meet and greet with the characters for breakfast.
Not sure if they have a dinner though? Florida seems to be easier to books character dinners!!
