My husband and I are meeting at CDG airport in mid-October. One of us will have a lengthy wait. Is there an area that would be suitable for such a wait? Is there a USO there? Thanks for the help.

CDG is a spralling mess. First of all which terminals are involved? What on earth is a USO?

You probably don%26#39;t want to hear this - but think about meeting at your hotel. That way nobody will have to spend any extra time in CDG - IMO the worst airport in the world.

I agree with 1BC. If you are actually going to a hotel, I%26#39;d just meet up there.
However, if you really want to meet at CDG, you could consider meeting at the entry doors of the Sheraton Hotel. It is located inside the CDG terminal 2 and above the rail station. Any airport staff would be able to direct you there.
If one of you is arriving at Terminal 1, this could be less convenient.
Just a thought.

USO Locations World-Wide--

Depending on the length of your wait, there are Duty-Free shopping areas to kill some time, food sercice restaurant %26amp; cafes, bars, McDonald%26#39;s.
Depending on the length of your combined lay-over before flying onward, there%26#39;s a Sheraton-CDG at the airport that you could check into to rest, refresh, shower change before you both move on.

CDG is really short on waiting areas, although terminal F is better than some of the others. Most have only limited seating space near the exits, and the seats always seem to be full. The cafés would be a possibility, but not really for a lengthy wait. Depending on how long the wait will be, you might consider staying at one of the less-expensive hotels that offer shuttle service.
