I am spending 4-5 days in Paris just after the World Cup after getting married and honeymooning in Bora Bora - I guess Paris is a little extension to our honeymoon. Anyway I wanted to get some recommendations for some good places to stay (as not main part of honeymoon doesn%26#39;t have to be anywhere super romantic - I might be over it by then!). I like the sound of the Madeleine area which seems to be near shopping district and central enough for majority of tourist sites. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you could suggest a price range it would help with recommendations. Meanwhile, check out Hotel Splendide Etoile at the Arc de Triomphe. Great location, fabulous views (especially Suite 606), and super convenient to Metro.

Is the Hotel Splendid Etoile right across the street from where the Air France Bus drops you off from CDG? Thanks.
