What to do and see in 2 days?

Hi All,

I have just suddenly realised that my boyfriend and I are heading over to Montpellier this weekend for the rugby and I have even looked at the sightseeing options or even what to do at all? Please help!

We are arriving early Saturday Morning and Leaving Monday so we havent got long - so it will have to be just the best of.

Also I heard that it takes about an hour to get to the beach - is it worth the visit? Or should we just stay in the city?

Hi there,

It doesn%26#39;t take an hour to beach. There are lots of beaches about 15 min drive from the city. Carnon, Palavas les flots, Grand Travers. The medieval town of Aigues Mortes is about 20 min drive, well worth a visit. Lots of shopping in Montpellier which is pedestrianised. There%26#39;s a Lafayette in the pyramid shopping centre. A light rail system operates around the city also.
