weather in June

Hello - what is the weather like during the second half of June in Paris? I went to Rome and Florence last year at that time and it was Super Hot! I did not like it.

There really is not a consistent weather pattern, unfortunately. It can be really chilly like it was this year (highs in the 60s the last week of June with drizzly rain) or there can be a heatwave.

Before you go check the %26quot;meteo%26quot; section of lemonde.fr, where you will get a very accurate forecast. And always be sure to pack for any possibility.

So, I guess it is go with the flow regarding heat/coolness.

I am considering Hotel College de France in the Latin Quarter. Apparently they have fans, but do not have AC. In case it gets quite hot, does anyone have experience with this hotel and their fans?

Regarding hotels rooms, I need to book ahead to get my choice of hotel in my price range, so want a scenario that would fit any type of weather. Which, I guess, is not a fan in the room, but otherwise the hotel sounds really good. Any thoughts?

There was a terrible heatwave when I was in Paris in June, 2006, and the A/C in my hotel room really gave me much needed relief . Without it I don%26#39;t think I would have been able to sleep.

This June was cold and wet. It rained every day during the last week. Thank goodness I threw in my jeans at the last minute. I would have been cold!

When I was in Paris this June the first couple of days where a bit overcast. The next couple of days where very sunny (and I got sun-burnt). It was hot but it was bearable - my husband and I dont do too well in the heat and we found the weather perfect.

Hubby and son were in Paris the last week of this past June. I made a big deal out making sure I booked them a hotel with A/C.

Guess what, it was cold and rainy and the A/C never got used!!

Now, I would still book a room with A/C for June, as when it gets hot in Paris it gets HOT , often with no nice breezes to move the air around, but one cannot seem to count on any sort of predictable weather any more! I went to Paris this past August, and we never turned the A/c on once, and that is very unusaul!!

Thanks very much everyone! I think I%26#39;ll try to be prepared for hot OR cold by being sure to have a room with AC which I can use, or not.
