I have booked 8 days at the Residence Pierre %26amp; Vacances City Haussmann, but can%26#39;t find any reviews/comments anywhere! We are leaving in 5 days. It seems to be a good price based on the looking I have done, and I like the idea of the kitchenette, but am really nervous about it. It has a fold out bed (studio unit) and I am worried that if we don%26#39;t sleep well, seeing Paris won%26#39;t be as fun! I can cancel in the next couple of days without much of a penalty, but don%26#39;t know where else to stay, it is overwhelming! Anyone%26#39;s help would be appreciated.

I haven%26#39;t heard from anyone about this hotel! Does anyone know anything about it? We are leaving in the morning!
Thanks

Hi,
Pierre et Vacances is a well known company in France especially on beach resorts. I stayed in the one in Cannes many years ago and it was quite pleasant.
Don%26#39;t worry and enjoy your trip!

We just returned and I have to say it was fine. More business oriented, but not that far from all the right bank has to offer. The room was nice sized, a murphy bed that was pretty comfortable, a large, spotless, newly redone bathroom with tub/shower that worked great, and a kitchenette with nice size fridge, cooktop, dishwasher, and microwave. It was pretty well equipped so made breakfast/snacks in the room very easy. The window opened to let the city in, but when closed really kept the room quiet. The air conditioning was a life saver, I couldn%26#39;t have slept with the noise and the heat from an open window. Next time I will probably stay on the left bank just for the different experience, but this was a bargin considering the amenities.

Thanks for the review :-)

Don%26#39;t cancel!! My husband and I recently got back from our vacation and I have to say that this is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in! We booked a studio but somehow got a really nice one bedroom complete with dishwasher, HUGE livingroom, bedroom, and marble bathroom. The smallest details were not overlooked - it had an ironing board, slippers (big, goofy and kind of funny but thoughtful just the same!) and the goody basket filled with toblerone and munchies were complimentary!
The room was very clean and we walked everywhere. It was about 20 minutes to the Arch. There are good restaurants, good shopping and a really good wine store nearby. The staff are on duty 24 hours.
I give it 5/5 and I am fussy!! Enjoy your stay!
