Les Arcs 1950

Just booked the Radisson in Les Arc 1950 for a family of 4, 2A + 2C. We have been skiing only once!

Am trying to get advice on access and place to eat!

Most of the reviews indicate that the food is in the disney style - this is not encouraging as the food is generally awful in disney but the kids (and wife) did enjoy the Mickey Waffles for breakfast.

So I would appreciate a list of places to eat in Arc 1950 and also other areas that are easily accessible through the lift system, where we could perhaps eat and then shuttle back to Arc 1950.

Also in terms of access we are using the train to Bourg-St Maurice. So advice on getting to Arc 1950 would be greatly appreciated!

And finally I would very much appreciate a list of things to avoid!! Restaurants, places etc

the train station in boug saint maurice is also the main taxi and bus terminal so getting to 1950 should not be a problem,the staff at the station should point you in the right direction,also another option but this would depend on your time of arrival in bourg and the weather would be to make yoor way to the funicular station in bourg st maurice and purchase a one way ticket on the funicular ( around 4 - 6 euros i think) this would take you up to Les arcs 1600,upon leaving the funicular take the gate to the left and the free ski bus stop area is about thirty yards from there.When you get to the ski bus stop you will require the bus marked 1600 - 2000 (written in red if my memory serves me correct) this will then take you from arc 1600 up to 2000,but you will want to get off before then ,if you ask the driver he should stop at 1950 anyway.Iam afrad that is all the help i can give as i am usure as to the location of the Radisson in 1950.
