paris to brussels?

I%26#39;m planning a one week trip to Paris. How feasible is it to take a day trip to Brussels? Can anyone recommend other day trips?

I%26#39;m a big fan of Brussels. Sometimes I think that puts me in a distinct minority lol. But nonetheless there%26#39;s something about the city that I really enjoy, perhaps it comes down to the beer. :)

If you really %26quot;must%26quot; do a day trip, then the Thalys train would be the way to do it, but I think Brussels is worth more than a few hours. And since Paris can keep you occupied for much more than a week I%26#39;d advise you to save Brussels for another trip.

If you want to do a day trip out of Paris to get out of the city for a break there are certainly numerous options, I%26#39;ll leave that to the local Paris and/or France experts.
