Paris from Disneyland and back.

We are going to stay at the Marriott%26#39;s Village I%26#39;le de France near Disneyland in November %26#39;07 for our 35th anniversary. We intend to travel between there and Paris for the most part of our trip. We will have a car but don%26#39;t know if there will be a place to park near the RER to go into the city each day. Also, what would be the best kind of ticket to buy for our transportation to and from the city and for getting around Paris (buses, subway, etc.)? Any suggestions?

Is Disneyland open during the first week in November? On-line it is not clear if they are or not.

First time in Paris for both of us and we need all the help we can get. Thank you for any help you can provide.

There is direct train service to various stations across Paris (Gare de Lyon--40 mins--Chatelet-Les Halles, Auber, Étoile-Place Charles deGaulle--47 mins), from the MARNE La VALLEE-CHESSY station at DLP (near the main entrance...the end-of-the-line for the %26#39;A-4%26#39; trains...any train with a %26#39;..Q xxx..%26#39; designation)

the MARNE La VALEE-CHESSY station, serving DisneyLand Paris, is located out in Transportaton Zone 5. Your best bet will be to make the best of your way to the station (Marriott provides a for-charge shuttle service) and take the RER %26#39;A%26#39; ligne into Paris. For the best deal, purchase one-calendar-day MOBILIS Zone 1-5 (12,30€...the regular round-trip RER %26#39;A%26#39; fare is 12,50€) transportation passes as necessary. The Mobilis pass will cover your round-trip RER %26#39;A%26#39; fare as well as %26#39;..hop-on / hop-off..%26#39;convenience to ALL of your other public transportation requirements (RER--including Versailles--Metro, Bus, Funicuar,Tram, Noctalien) while in Paris touring about during the day and evening. Last RER %26#39;A-4%26#39; train back to DLP will be at 00:30 (12:30 AM)

Any idea about the charge for the Marriott shuttle? We%26#39;ll be arriving in 14 days.

Thanks.

Not even a clue...but I bet if you e-mailed the Concierge desk at your hotel itself, they could probably tell you what the hotel%26#39;s shuttle fares are to DLP and Marne La Vallee Chessy station for Paris and the La Vallee Village Outlet mall.

Update:

There is no Marriott shuttle. There is a free shuttle offered between the hotel and either Disneyland, and/or the RER train station. It%26#39;s the pink bus #57. It runs in the morning through sometime in the afternoon. After that, the #34 bus is 1.5 euros.

We took a cab when we arrived back late (11:00pm 2300). Cost varied between 10.8 and 11.3 euros.

One taxi driver was nice. The other wanted to punch me (don%26#39;t ask).
