ATM machines

I have been assuming that ATM machines are widely available in Burgundy (Dijon, Beaune, and Auxerre), as they are in Paris. Am I correct? I have been planning to use ATMs for currency exchange after the first few days; I have already exchanged dollars for @400 euros to cover initial days/expenses. Thanks!

Hi - we were in Beaune and Dijon last week and yes, ATM machines are very readily accessible. In addition to banks, many post offices also have ATM machines as well. We tried to use our credit/debit cards to pay whenever possible, but never had a problem finding an ATM in any of the cities we visited.

P.S. I see that you are from Birmingham......I grew up in Troy! Small world!
