Trisara Phuket

I just returned from the Trisara in Phuket. We arrived a day after the one-to-go airline crash at Phuket. BKK Air that we traveled on from BKK to HKT took us to Krabi and bussed passengers to the a/p in HKT. However, my friend and I were wary about the bus availabilty one arrived in Krabi so we asked the Trisara to pick us up in Krabi. They happily did so and did not even charge us. Once we arrived to the hotel the ocean view villa we were confirmed to get still had some guests in it. Trisara upgraded our room to an ocean front villa. At the time of booking the room I could not see paying the extra between ocean view to ocean front but we were surprised and happy to hear of our great fortune. We could hear the waves even with the door closed. It was devine.

There was some light construction still going on even though we were told prior to booking the hotel that the construction was finished. In the price of our room was a massage. We heard power drills/saws 3/4 of the time during the massage.

The hotel was devine.....the staff-superb. Mr. Ott, the driver that picked us up at the Krabi a/p, came in on his day off to take us back to the airport. Personal service. Kindness unequaled.

It sounds like you had a terrific stay in spite of the turmoil - but I think that you meant to post this on the Thai or Phuket forums.
