La Taverne 2, Place de l%26#39;Odéon 75006 Paris, France. On a nice day you can sit outside and sample mussels.

Cafe Bonaparte 42, r Bonaparte 75006 Paris, France (just down from Les Deux Magots. On a nice day you can sit outside and have a nice omelette.

Brasserie l%26#39;Île St-Louis, 55, quai Bourbon On a nice day you can sit outside to try charcroute or cassolet and they serve a great onion tart with Alsacian beer.

L%26#39;Atlas 11 rue de Buci. On a nice day you can sit outside and enjoy Oysters! or moules frites.

L’Insulaire, at 16 rue Gregoire de Tours for an inexpensive Prix Fix dinner (13.5e IIRC) They have a great desert cheese plate. You%26#39;ll have to sit inside, even on a nice day, but they have large windows.

I would just like to point out that while the Brasserie-en-Ile (recommended above) is a nice little place and has scenic views, iI would not say that it is %26quot;near%26quot; Rue Cassette. The Brasserie is lcoated on Ile de St. Louis (the smaller island in the Seine, behind the island which Notre Dame is on) which is at least a 20 minute walk from Rue Cassette (deep in the heart of the 6th Arrondissement). I have found that most people go for the view of Notre Da,e - the food is quite average.

If you are looking for a good place to eat near Rue Cassette, I highly recommend Chez Maitre Paul, 12 rue Monsieur-le-Prince, 6th Arrond. Tel:01.43.54.74.59. M° Odéon. It is a small bistro that serves wonderful food from the Jura region. Here is their website: http://www.chezmaitrepaul.fr/index.html. I always try and eat there everytime I am in Paris.

If you are in the mood for Italian, I really enjoyed the %26quot;Monteverdi%26quot; restaurant on rue Guisarde. It is very reasonbly priced and is about 3 minutes from rue Cassette. Here is their website: http://www.lemonteverdi.com/
