An October Sunday in Paris

I will only get to enjoy Paris for two days. One is a Sunday. Can anyone answer these questions?

1. What times are Sunday masses at the Notre -Dame Cathedral? How crowded are they? How long do they usually last?

2. Does the Eiffel Tower have any postal service on Sundays? I would love to mail postcards stamped from there.

I can only answer your first question. We always go to the 10:00 am Messe Gregorien which is our favorite mass and lasts about one hour. The next one is 11:30 and last longer as it is a high mass. It is not very crowded and you get to enter in a separate door indicating for mass attendees only. Try to arrive at least five minutes before it starts. You can eno looking at the windows on a sunny day.

Enjoy your trip!

For mailing postcards, I would guess that they will take them but they just won%26#39;t be postmarked until the following day.

Thank you for the mass information! To the second question - can I buy stamps there on Sunday? Is there a postal stamp machine so postcards can be stamped from the Eiffel Tower?

I have no idea whether you can buy stamps there, but most likely you could get some at your hotel and then drop the postcards there?

Good Idea! Thank you so much!
