fastpass for eurodisney

I was reading the reviews of eurodisney and one post mentioned a %26quot;fastpass%26quot;. This seems to be a way of queue jumping!! Can anyone give me further information please?

Copied from their site:

%26quot;Why wait in line?

Make even more out of your day in Disneyland Park with FASTPASS, a FREE, time-saving service that will shorten your wait at certain attractions.

YOUR DISNEY THEME PARKS ENTRANCE TICKET WILL SAVE YOU TIME!

in DISNEYLAND PARK:

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, Adventureland

Space Mountain, Discoveryland

Big Thunder Mountain, Frontierland

Peter Pan%26#39;s Flight, Fantasyland

Star Tours, Discoveryland

How does it work?

At the entrances to the attractions mentioned abowe, you will see two lines: one for the traditional queue (the waiting time is indicated on a notice board) and one for FASTPASS

If you choose the FASTPASSaccess, insert your Entrance Ticket into the distributor and you will automatically receive yourFASTPASS TICKET.The free reservation service will indicate the time slot during which you should return to ride the attraction.

Return to the attraction during the indicated time slot on your FASTPASS TICKET and you will be able to ride the attraction within a few minutes.

FASTPASS will shorten your wait at certain attractions:

With FASTPASS, you can make the most of all the other attractions and shows that the Disney Parks offer. FASTPASS ticket distribution is subject to availability. Certain height and age restrictions apply.

VIP FASTPASS: as a Suites Guests, you get unlimited access to the attractions equipped with %26quot;FASTPASS Service%26quot;.

Disneyland Hotel FASTPASS: as a Disneyland Hotel Guest (except Suites), you get three extra opportunities during your entire stay to re-ride some of your favourite %26quot;FASTPASS%26quot; attractions.%26quot;

Certain rides are equiped with a fast pass kiosk. You insert your disney passport into a machine and it spits out a ticket with a time slot. Return during that time slot to a special marked entrance and present your ticket. You will then be able to use the entrance which skips the lines and you only have a short wait to board the ride. You can hold several fast passes at one time but not for the same time slot.

Fast passes do run out. Peter pan is the most popular ride with fast pass so get there early . Also Space Mountain Mission 2 will be popular as it is new.

Fast pass rides are:

Space Mountain Mission 2

Peter Pan

Big Thunder Mountain

Indian Jones Temple of Doom Coaster

The idea is to go directly when you enter the park to the attractions with fast pass that you want to visit and book a time slot.

Thanks. Thats exactly the information I needed!

You may find you still have to queue (although not as long as those with no fastpass) to get on the ride if it%26#39;s really busy when you are there. At Easter queue for Peter Pan Ride with no fastpass was 90 mins and with fastpass 20 mins. However it was so busy that by 10.30am (1/2 after park opened) no fastpasses were left for the day so the early bird and all that.

I think they now call it Dineyland Paris instead od Eurodisney, don%26#39;t ask me why. Should have been somewhere warmer anyway, I was freezing at xmas

|||

:-O

I visited in January (for my son%26#39;s birthday) and nobody in line... Didn%26#39;t have to wait for a second. It did snow a bit, but I guess there%26#39;s some advantages. We only arrived at the park at around 11:30h so would have lost fastpasses and I would never wait for 90 minutes for a ride. I%26#39;m not even sure it%26#39;s really worth all that waiting, but I wouldn%26#39;t have the pacience for that much waiting no matter how great it was anyway.

To MorganB --You can hold several fast passes at one time but not for the same time slot.--

Once I enter the park let%26#39;s say as the gates open , can I go directly to the mentioned rides to get the fastpass? Or will that result in getting the same time slot? Thanks.
