Hi,
I%26#39;m thinking of going to Disneyland Paris later this year with my 18 month old daughter but i%26#39;m worried she%26#39;ll be too young.
What do you think?
Thanks, Steve.

Too young for what??? Of course she is too young for the rides, except maybe the choo choo train ride around the land.
Frankly it is a total waste. Will she laugh and have fun when she sees some of the pretty fantasy scenery , yes, perhaps, but for ZERO dollars admission you could take her to Paris and go to Luxembourg Park, which has a lovely childrens playground etc. . Now, of course SHE is free in Disneyland, it is you who will pay, so if this questions is really %26quot; I want to go to Disneyland and ride the rides and take my daughter%26quot; then of course she is not too young, but if you are asking what she will get out of it, , well, not much that she couldn%26#39;t get anywhere, LOL.
I have three kids( 11-17), and frankly it never occurred to me that a 18month old really cared where they were as long as they were loved, with mommy and daddy, and had their juice cuppy with them, LOL

unless you secretly want to go to Disneyland and hauling this toddler there is your excuse, forget it -- this is way too young to get any real pleasure out of the experience -- anything younger than 3 is too young and I would wait till she is about 5
Paris is filled with little playgrounds that a toddler would love -- almost every park has toddler riding and climbing toys that an 18 month old is likely to find occasionally amusing -- and at that age novelty is enough
we took our kids to Disneyworld in FLorida when my youngest was 4 -- her big memory -- the monorail from the parking lot into the grounds --
Go enjoy Paris yourself and arrange to visit local parks for lunch and to give your child a chance to play and explore
I know there are kiddy playgrounds for tiny ones at Luxembourg Gardens (there is also a playground for kids as old as 12 or 13 but avoid that one), at Batignoles and in pretty much any small pocket park -- they have little slides, duckies on springs to ride on etc etc

I would say she is too young as well. I would wait until she is old enough to know where she is.

If your 18 month old child has asked you (writtnen you a note, sent you an e-mail, texted you on your cel phone) to take her to DisnetyLand Paris....then you certainly should indulge her curiousity....otherwise...skip it.

i would say go my sister in law went with her daughter when she was just 2 months albeit a bit young they enjoyed it and have gone back when she was 1 yr old and she loved it her face was a picture its not just for the kids the adult rides do a child swap service so one stays with the child while the other rides then they swap saving queing twice

Up until 10 days ago, I would have said yes she%26#39;s too young.
HOWEVER.
We were just over an hour away from Disney on holiday (ok, watching the rugby) and Mother-in-law who was with us (babysitting!) is a massive Disney fan so she paid for all of us to go. Our daughter is 11 months and I thought it would be a waste of time. How wrong I was. To begin with Little Miss wasn%26#39;t too sure of it all, even cried when MIL took her to meet Mickey. Ten minutes later watching the parade her eyes were massive! She then couldn%26#39;t stop giggling at the shop displays and doing her little dance thing at all the music. Took her on %26quot;It%26#39;s a small world%26quot; ride and her eyes were just like saucers, she was mesmerised. We didn%26#39;t get to take her on any other rides as we went off on the %26quot;big%26quot; ones while MIL took her around, but the opportunity was there, esp in the section of the park right behind the Castle.
We went to Disney Village after for a meal in %26quot;The Steakhouse%26quot; and it was fab. Very accomadating for babies (highchair had Mickey ears!)
So, if you are going cos you want to, then yes it%26#39;s fine for an 18 month. But if going just for her, then wait till she%26#39;s older
