CDG to Paris

Off to Paris for a week 1/10 - what%26#39;s the best way to get from CDG to my hotel, (Hotel de la Paix, Rue Daranton) taxi metro??. Can anyone give some info on the Moluin Rouge (show only) - any tips?

The hotel is inside but pretty close to the Periphique (ring road around central Paris) in the south west so a taxi might be most straightforward. The closest metro is Boucicaut, direction Balard on Line 8 and my check of the map suggests you would need to change to the metro from RER B and then change metro lines again. For the Moulin Rouge, do a search on the forum and you will find a lot of discussions on dinner only vs dinner etc

If you decide to take a taxi, stay on the RER-B from CDG till you get to the %26quot;Denfert-Rochereau%26quot; station and grab a taxi there (for the shortest taxi ride).

If you choose public transit, you can take the RER-B to the %26quot;Cité Universitaire%26quot; station, walk out of the station and hop directly onto the T-3 tram in the direction of %26quot;Pont du Gangliano%26quot;. Get off at the %26quot;Balard%26quot; station and walk the four blocks north to the hotel. This journey involves no stairs, only escalators, and the tram fare is included in the price of your RER ticket.
