ATM%26#39;s are as ubiquitous in Paris as they are in Montrel....and in a busy government / commercial area like the neighborhoods of Hotel de Ville / Saint Paul...I%26#39;d be shocked and amazed if you had to walk more than a couplef hundred meters, in any direction, to find one.

There are a dozen (at least) in the neighborhood. The closest are:

Le Banque Populaire, the Crédit Industrieul and the BNP Paribus, all directly adjacent to the St-Paul Metro station. The BHV department store has two ATMs, one on either side street near the front of the store. There are also three bank ATMs near the intersection of rue du Temple and rue Rambuteau in the Marais.

Do they work with ATM/Debit cards from the US?

ebean - yes, no problem at all (if you do a search on the forum, you will find that use of a debit card is by far the preferred way of getting local currency in Europe).

Thank you very much for your answers
