I will be arriving at CDG new years day 9:40 am. Considering several apartments to stay in and a few budget hotels, all pretty centrally located, so I think that the luggage will be dropped there right away...That said, I feel that a full day is a must so that I don%26#39;t end up sleeping through it!
*Did I mention that I%26#39;ll be more than 7 months prenant for this trip?!!
Ideas for a fun new years day?
Needs: food, things that are open, potential transportation problems from airport?
I%26#39;m not interested in: Eiffel tower-seems very popular for new years day and prone to weather closings...save for another time. Also, some paris parade posted in older new years day threads - I don%26#39;t need to go to paris to see american marching bands!
I see some museums (ie Jacquemart-Andre) are open...would their cafes be as well? Maybe a stop at one would take up some time. The paris info xmas/new years pages don%26#39;t seem to be working right now...
Any ideas/dayplans GREATLY appreciated!
